Theme,Tone of "Richard Cory"

In my opinion, the theme of the poem "Richard Cory" is riches and wealth cant buy true happiness.
The tone of the poem is trying to show empathy towards the reader.

Martin Luther King Jr

Martin Luther King Jr was a very inspirational man, he devoted his life so that millions of African Americans could have the right to freedom. He wanted a better environment for his children. I think if Martin never said his famous speech "i have dream" that perhaps black people will still be segregated.
